The Role

LADbible are looking for a talented and ambitious Licensing Account Director to join our growing CONTENTbible team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a fast-paced company. You will report directly to our Head of Licensing and you will be responsible for generating new business leads, help manage inbound licensing enquires, negotiate licensing opportunities, drafting and negotiating license agreements and managing client relationships to a high standard. You will be dealing with video and sales on a daily basis so you will need to have a passion for content and be ambitious, driven and comfortable with achieving revenue based targets.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate repeat and new business opportunities, identify new media clients and manage inbound licensing requests from third parties, including negotiation, generation of video license agreements and any related delivery requirements. 
  • Ensuring all administration is completed accurately, in a timely fashion and to a high standard. 
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and deliver a professional service to all new and existing customers.
  • Assist in research of suitable video options to match customer briefs to generate wider sales and actively pitch our latest UGC to potential customers.
  • You will work closely with our submissions, acquisitions, social and editorial teams so being a team player is a must.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline and generate monthly activity reporting.
  • Act as team representative in the media marketplace and provide first-class customer service to new and existing clients.



The Person

  • BA Hons required (candidates without a degree but with relevant experience will be considered). 
  • Video licensing or related experience at a publishing company or licensing agency preferred 
  • Have experience in negotiating content licenses, agreements and managing customer relationships. 
  • We would love to see candidates with existing relationships with TV networks, production companies and/or publishers. Candidates without any existing media relationships will still be considered. 
  • A sales background and/or good knowledge of copyright ownership and IP law is desired.
  • Ability to demonstrate confidence under pressure.
  • A problem solver and able to think on your feet.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills & comfortable speaking on the phone and presenting to a group.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working to a high standard in a quick pace environment and proven ability to successfully juggle many time-sensitive projects at once.
  • Hard working, self-starter able to work independently as well as being a team player.
