The Role 

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Social Video Creative with Video Journalism and editing for social media experience to join our Social Video team. 

Working as part of LADbible Group, your role will be to create and edit news stories for our audience using a mix of archive and originally shot video footage. 

You will be part of the team responsible for taking LADbible creative video to the next level, by enhancing the brand image and maintaining a strong online video presence, as well as continually developing and improving the quality of our videos by reviewing audience feedback an analytical data. 



  • Finding trending news stories and presenting them in video format.
  • Obtaining permission from content owners to re-edit their content and post to  LADbible Group’s social media pages 
  • Source, and produce original stories for LADbible Group's pages
  • Editing in a timely fashion and to a high standard
  • Working closely with various teams across LADbible Group, including Joyride and CONTENTbible, to package   videos for use across our social media channels
  • Being able to make analytical reports on the content you produce
  • Continually striving to understand the tone of the brand
  • Maintaining impeccable grammar and punctuation skills 



The Person 

  • Video background with social media experience, preferably with experience working within a similar role at a news organisation or in an editing heavy Video Journalist role.
  • Excellent video editing skills using Adobe Premier/ Final Cut Pro/ Avid
  • A creative individual who will be able use editing styles and techniques to improve trending videos
  • Hard working, passionate and motivated individual 
  • Understanding of storytelling and what makes an engaging story
  • Knowledge of the company's brand and overall style
  • Active social media user with experience of various social channels
  •  Can work to strict deadlines and targets
  • Relevant degree, equivalent qualification or experience working in Social Media, Video Production or other relevant multimedia field is desirable 
  • Have and in depth understanding of the ever changing social media industry
