Brand Marketing Manager -SPORTbible

The Role

As SPORTbible Marketing Manager, you will be joining one of the industry’s most exciting and dynamic marketing departments who are responsible for award winning campaigns from Trash Isles to UOKM8? as well as developing content franchises that has seen Judi Dench rapping with Lethal Bizzle and Margot Robbie drinking John Smiths bitter. 

Working collaboratively with the Head of Marketing & Senior Brand Marketing Manager, you will be a key driver in developing world class original content, marketing propositions and editorial campaigns that will drive SPORTbible to become the leading youth sport publication in the world.

We’re looking for someone who has huge a passion for sport and a high knowledge of the competitive landscape, as well as an appetite to innovate and do things differently. You will be expected to have a creative mind set and the ability to develop creative ideas and unique storytelling, but with a foundation of being organised, disciplined and able to work under pressure. 

This is a role that will see you thrown in the deep end, but having the opportunity to work on world-class content and campaigns that will be seen by millions and feature A-List stars.


  •      Develop the strategy of SPORTbible brand marketing campaigns and its implementation and activation across our channels 
  •        Create video content franchises with sport talent that will be relevant for each sport 
  •      Work collaboratively with the video team to produce world class talent led content and interviews 
  •       Organise video shoots and direct A-list talent
  •       Drive continual research initiatives to understand the constantly changing competitive and social landscapes
  •       Report on the effectiveness of SPORTbible brand marketing campaigns and content across our channels
  •      Constantly sharing creative thoughts and ideas to help maximise SPORTbible’s impact in the industry and delight our audience 
  •       Assist with the creation of creds decks for SPORTbible 

The Person

  •       Four to five years’ experience in marketing 
  •       Experience in leading marketing campaigns
  •       Knowledge of the digital and social media landscape
  •       Have a ‘black book’ of active connections in sport and/or youth culture
  •       Proven ability to negotiate contracts deals and form partnerships
  •       A proven social media expert and knowledge paid social experience
  •       Excellent project management skills
  •       Demonstrable understanding of each social channel and the role it plays in publishing
  •       Someone who understands the current digital landscape across social, content and publishing
  •       To be able to demonstrate experience of innovating
  •      Someone looking to work within a rapidly growing company at the forefront of online publishing and working alongside industry specialist’s
  •       Will work within a diverse and passionate team whilst further developing yourself professionally
  •       Growing your skills and learning about the broader aspects of marketing and digital publishing
  •       Someone who is Innovative, have excellent organisational skills
  •       Has high attention to detail
  •       High proficiency in Microsoft office
  •       Previous experience/interests in the sports field
