Account Director, Brand Partnership

LADbible Group’s Sales team is expanding and looking to recruit a target driven and consultative client direct Account Director to join our brand partnerships team. Ideally candidates will have previous experience working with and selling to entertainment & games brands directly, however it isn’t essential.

 
Working as an integral team member of the dynamic LADbible Group Sales team, this client-facing role is focused on leading the strategic approach to some of the UK’s biggest advertisers and LBG most important clients by growing existing revenue & identifying new business opportunities through building key relationships with senior level marketing contacts. 

 

This is a consultative sales role where the aim is to drive sales, increase the revenue and profile of LADbible Group by understanding client’s business challenges. 

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Be able to sell the full range of advertising opportunities (and develop new ones) based on client’s objectives & challenges
  • Maximise coverage across your client patch and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders including marketing, media, comms/PR across multiple disciplines e.g. social, mobile, digital  
  • Become an expert on a client’s challenges and markets, to be able to speak with authority on our behalf about how we can help solve them
  • Work closely with Group Manager & Agency sales team to identify & maximise the revenue opportunity within the client patch to meet and exceed targets and objectives 
  • Work alongside our industry leading internal teams (Data Science, Marketing and our in-house Creative Agency) to create and deliver pitches to potential clients to obtain new, or repeat, business opportunities 
  • Work with internal teams to identify opportunities for thought leadership we can deliver to market that will elevate us to your clients 
  • Fully manage the sales process and client relationship from brief to execution to PCA
  • Will be fully responsible for the revenue performance of your key clients to the board
  • Respond to briefs effectively and in a timely way, ensuring all criteria is delivered on 
  • Continually present new & innovative ideas

What do you need to have done before?

  • Ideally candidates will have pre-existing contacts at within marketing teams at some of the UK biggest spending advertisers
  • Have experience of working with clients direct as well as media agencies with experience of both digital and social content platforms 
  • Demonstrate that you can sell & present to senior level marketers (including proven relationships)  in the media space 
  • Be able to work collaboratively, lead & marshal multi-disciplinary internal teams toward client goals
  • Have excellent negotiation skills to ensure maximum revenue from a client 
  • Understand the world of digital and use social channels e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat 
  • Show an aptitude to learn in a fast moving digital and social space with complex products  
  • Be prepared to put the time in and be happy working under pressure and to tight deadlines 
  • Relish seeing this time and focus convert to sales and revenue  
  • Be genuinely passionate about LADbible brand
