The Role 

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Social Video Creative with Video Journalism and editing for social media experience to join our Social Video team in Joyride – our in-house creative agency. 

Working as part of LADbible Group, your role will be to create and edit a range of social content for an one of LADbible’s most high-profile clients social channels, using a mix of existing brand assets, archive and originally shot video footage. 

You will be part of the team responsible for taking this clients creative video to the next level on their social channel’s, by enhancing the brand image and maintaining a strong online video presence, as well as continually developing and improving the quality of their videos by reviewing audience feedback and analytical data.

Responsibilities

  • Source, and produce original stories for the brand social pages
  • Editing in a timely fashion and to a high standard
  • Working closely with the client and various teams across LADbible Group, including Editorial, to package videos for use the brand’s social media channels 
  • Finding angles on trending news stories and presenting them in video format for the brand
  • Being able to make analytical reports on the content you produce

The Person

  • Understanding of storytelling and what makes an engaging story 
  • Hard working, passionate and motivated individual  
  • A creative individual who will be able use editing styles and techniques to improve trending videos       
  • Excellent video editing skills using Adobe Premier/ Final Cut Pro/ Avid
  • Video background with social media experience, preferably with experience working within a similar role at a news organisation, or social media agency in an editing heavy Video Journalist role.  
  • Ability to adapt and develop the style of the brand
  • Active social media user with experience of various social channels
